You agree that if you have booked onto a public ghost hunting event
which is also classed as a paranormal investigation. This event is not a
TV programme; we cannot guarantee that paranormal activity will take
place on the night of your stay. We advise our clients, paranormal
activity is a rare occurrence, even though our location is reputable and
been witness to such activity, it may or may not happen. Please note
that all ghost stories, myths and legends about the locations are not
fabricated by LPS/ PA however, although some are due to witness
statements, many of the origins are not researchable and have an
unreliable validation.

Your event ghost hunt
event may include one or more team members who claim to be sensitive,
psychics or mediums, whose role during this event is purely for
entertainment purposes. Upon adhering to the terms and conditions upon
receipt of payment, you agree that any perceived information, advice,
predictions or comments made by the said psychics or sensitive’s should
not be interpreted as factual or actual
18-
Ghost hunt events held
by LPS/PA are classed as public ghost hunts or paranormal
investigations. The public events are for solely entertainment purposes
only and advertised as an alternative night out. LPS/PA do not make
claims to be scientists, accredited parapsychologists or claim their
viewpoint regarding alleged paranormal activity is the right way to
think. LPS/PA remind you that we all have different opinions regarding
supposed paranormal activity and life after death therefore, LPS/PA will
not confirm or deny that if unexplainable activity occurs, it maybe
paranormal. LPS/PA also suggest that the clients are responsible for
their own decisions into whether they have experienced supposed
paranormal activity or whether they believe in life after death.

You agree that LPS/PA

20-
You understand that
LPS/PA team members will run the ghost hunting events; they will
endeavour to help you sense any activity, operate equipment and try to
answer any questions you may have, to the best of their knowledge.
21-
Most importantly you
must understand we all have a different opinions concerning the
paranormal – you have booked onto a ghost hunt event with the knowledge
that sometimes our paranormal investigators, psychics or team leaders
may sense, see or feel things you may not or agree with. This not a
reflection on you or your own abilities. However, should you sense, feel
or see something paranormal, our investigators, psychics or team members
with look at all the possible causes – be that natural or unnatural,
first. This is an investigation – we will look at all facts. You
understand that LPS/PA will supply various gadgets associated with ghost
hunting. We will give you a brief explanation on how they work – it is
up to you, the client to use them at your will, unless otherwise stated
by LPS/PA. LPS/PA does not state that the gadgets can ‘pick up’, ‘tune
into’ or record spirits, ghosts and or other supposed paranormal
activity. LPS/PA agree with parapsychologists that many of the gadgets
are not ideal in capturing alleged phenomena and are often
misinterpreted in the field.
22-
Lone vigils may happen
on ghost hunts, according to the size of the location. You understand
due to the number of participants, and length of event, not everyone
will be able to experience it. LPS/PA will endeavour to try and fit
everyone in throughout the night, however, should we run out of time, it
is our policy to call it a day. However on some ghost hunt events lone
vigils may not be able to happen.
23-
You agree that LPS/PA
night vigils will include on average 15-40 ghost hunters, and on average
5-15 team members who vary in accordance to availability and LPS/PA
policy. LPS/PA deserves the right to use various sensitive’s and
paranormal investigators at chosen events. LPS/PA occasionally may use a
guest psychic, or paranormal investigator and sustain the right to
change the billing of the event due to the guests availability.
24-
LPS/PA is run by Ian
Shillito. LPS/PA realises that a number of ghost hunters book onto the
Ghost events in order to work with Ian as he has appeared on Most
Haunted. Ian will do his utmost best to work will all of you throughout
the night; however you agree that you will be put into smaller groups
headed by other psychics, paranormal investigators. Ian will swap around
during the course of the event.
25-
You understand that
Ian Shillito may not be able to attend your LPS/PA event
26-
You understand that
most ghost hunt events will include a brief explanation about ghosts
and hauntings, sometimes a group mediation, group and possible lone
vigils and refreshment breaks. Please note that all group vigils run for
approximately – 60 – 90 mins and will be lead by 1-2 LPS/PA team leaders
(However should activity occur these times may be extended) Lone vigils
will run approx; 10-15 mins. LPS/PA will supply basic refreshments, tea,
coffee, biscuits, unless stated in the event breakdown on the site.
27-
Your event maybe
filmed for our records, and you maybe asked to film a solo vigil. This
footage may be included in a promotional video and appear on the net or
as promotional material. Should you not want to be included, please
inform an LPS team member ASAP.
28-
If you attend one the
haunted history ghost walks, you understand all walks will continue
during light rain, and only in extreme weather conditions will the event
be cancelled. You will be informed by phone or email in advance on the
day should this occur
PRIVATE BOOKINGS
-
In 2010, LPS/PA became partners with Events Incorporated. Any
private or Large corporate bookings will now be passed onto this
company, who will have their own payment/deposit requirements.
DISCLAIMER
-
It is LPS/PA policy to use "sensitive’s" and paranormal
investigators, each having at least several years experience behind
them. Each team member is vetted and interviewed before starting a
trial period. Actors and tour guides are also given sufficient
training
Please note: We offer an alternative night out and consider our ghost
hunt events as investigations into supposed paranormal activity; with an
emphasis on understanding the phenomena. However our events are fun,
enjoyable and informative. We at LPS/PA envisage our events as vehicles
for entertainment purposes only..
