Chislehurst Caves: a haunted historical tour

“Haunted History Walks" consist of original devised walks around some of London's most haunted and historical areas exploring some of the capitals most horrid history and petrifying ghost stories.   The darker side of Chislehurst Caves is explored as we step back thousands of years and recall stories of sacrifices, spectres and sinister history. The dark mysterious labyrinth, which makes up the Caves, extends 22 miles beneath the leafy village of Chislehurst. Built by man over thousands of years, the matrix of caves and ancient passageways create a confusing and dangerous place one could get lost in.

With a gloomy ambience, a colourful but occasionally bloody past, it comes as no surprise to discover the caves are haunted. Tales of discarnate beings, black miasmas, terrifying apparitions lurk with the bowels of the cave system. Will we encounter them tonight?
